David Cockshott has specialised in corporate recovery and insolvency since 1986 and is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner, having qualified 1998. David is licensed by the Insolvency Practitioners Association. David has previously worked as a partner in national and local practices before establishing Live Recoveries with Martin Halligan. David’s interests include skiing, motorcycling and running.
Martin has specialised in business recovery and the insolvency of both companies and individuals since 1984. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a Fellow of The Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). Martin is and a keen rugby supporter and enjoys keeping fit at the gym.
Jonny Jowett began his insolvency career in 2007 in a successful local practice gaining experience in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency procedures. Jonny has obtained his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency accreditation as part of his career development. Jonny’s spare time is spent with his family and his interests include hill walking, socialising and he is an avid fundraiser for charity.
Having passed her ACCA exams Harpreet has worked in finance in a number of businesses before joining Live Recoveries initially as client cashier and financial controller. Harpreet now administers a number of insolvency cases. In her spare time Harpreet enjoys keeping fit, music and fashion.
Margaret has worked in insolvency and business recovery for many years. Margaret joined Live Recoveries in 2014 and specialises in employment related advice for business and employees experiencing formal insolvency procedures. In her spare time Margaret is a keen traveller.
Elliot graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2021, where he majored in Sports Science. Elliot has a keen interest in fraud investigation and joined the team in 2022 as a Case Administrator. Elliot enjoys playing football for a local team in his spare time.
Abigail joined Live Recoveries in 2021 as a case administrator. Abigail has previous experience in accounting and customer service roles. Abigail is an animal lover and likes to spend her free time with friends and family.
